Ways to Get Involved

Ambassador Program

This is a great way for undergraduate and graduate students to become more heavily involved with your student event planning board while gaining experience! Ambassadors will assist with generating event ideas, creating budgets, marketing, contacting agents/performers, booking hotels and catering, transporting performers, and executing day-of responsibilities. Additionally, there will be several opportunities to attend conferences with ASAP and monthly Program Selection Meetings.

As an Ambassador you will:

  • Assist with at least 3 events per semester
  • Plan and assist in executing events
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings
  • Propose at least one program per semester

If you have an interest in creating meaningful events for your campus and want to learn more about social justice, be sure to contact Katie Benjamin at asap_recruitment@mail.colostate.edu

If you would like to just volunteer for a specific event or need to fulfill service hours, please include the event name and the number of hours needed to be completed in your email.

Big Idea Meeting

Do you have a great idea for an event that you would like to bring to campus? Come tell ASAP at our monthly Big Idea Meetings! You will have the opportunity to work with an ASAP event planner to propose and present at our Program Selection Meeting. If passed, you can help lead the event!

If you are unable to attend the Big Idea Meeting, look for the GIANT Big Idea Box on the plaza or submit your idea in the box below. Do not hesitate to top by the office located in LSC West to speak with an event planner!

Remember, this is YOUR campus! Help create events YOU want to see!
