Contemporary Issues

The Contemporary Issues Committee plans events around issues that are affecting the world today; including art, politics, pop culture, and things happening right here at Colorado State University. The primary focus of this committee is to center events toward educating students about issues that are not covered in the traditional classroom. Contemporary Issues collaborates with other student organizations across campus to ensure diversity and awareness.

Programs that the Contemporary Issues Committee has planned this year include John Cupcakes Entrepreneurship Lecture, Rockin’ Registration, Avenue Q in Denver – student package, Rafael Casal slam poetry, the Skeller Trivia Series, etc.

Upcoming events include Matt Glowacki diversity lecture, Sonya Renee – slam poetry, the Life Lecture series, and the Skeller Trivia Series.
