Ambassadors will assist with generating event ideas based off of market research, create budgets, meet with graphic designers to make marketing materials and distribute them, contact agents/performers, book hotels and catering, transport performers, and execute day-of responsibilities.
ASAP Vision: Foster growth in all students through intentional programming
ASAP Mission: provide diverse and affordable events that both entertain and enrich the Colorado State University experience
Diversity and Social Justice Programs has merged with ASAP, CSU’s student programming board, to create an inclusive programming board which values and serves every student at CSU. We seek to meet the needs of all students through planning events based on feedback from surveys, focus groups, and Big Idea meetings where any student can come and share their ideas and can work with us to plan those events if they so choose. We love to collaborate with student organizations and offices as well. If you have an idea for an event, please feel free to submit it through http://asap.colostate.edu/get-involved.aspx. If you would like to get involved with ASAP, please email Katie Benjamin at email@example.com. We have lots of volunteer opportunities as well as excellent employment opportunities waiting for you!
The next Big Idea and Ambassador meeting is Wednesday, April 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the Rec Center, Lower Conference Room. See you there!
We are dedicated to promoting a supportive, creative learning environment by developing campus community through a diversity of high quality, student-centered programs and services.
